Product Overview
Cosmic Stone takes its reference from deep-space imagery — the swirling, cloud-like forms of nebulae and galaxy formations translated into a high-contrast wall surface. The texture combines large sweeping curves with fine detail, creating a surface that reads differently at distance and up close. From across a room, it's dramatic and atmospheric. Up close, the detail is intricate.
Available in White/Dark Grey contrast colorway on 1200×2900mm panels. 3 to 4mm thick. The two-tone coloring is unique in the RINSUN range — it creates a tonal contrast between raised and recessed areas that amplifies the cosmic, swirling quality of the texture. 01. Two-tone: color does what light and shadow alone cannot
Most textured panels rely on light and shadow to create visual contrast. Cosmic Stone has the shadow already built into the color — dark recesses, light peaks. This means the surface reads dramatically regardless of lighting angle, including under flat overhead commercial lighting where relief products with a single color can look flat.
02. The swirling pattern has no dominant direction
No orientation to manage, no direction to align. Panels can be placed in any orientation without the surface reading as misaligned. On a large wall with multiple panels, the swirling pattern flows continuously regardless of how individual panels are positioned.
03. Contrast ratio between light and dark areas is controlled
The white tone is not pure white and the dark grey is not black. The contrast is calibrated to be dramatic without being harsh — a design decision that keeps the surface luxurious rather than stark.
04. At 3 to 4mm, shipping cost per m² is lower than deeper relief products
Thinner panels pack more efficiently. A full container of 3mm Cosmic Stone carries more square metres than a 6 to 8mm deep product. For large commercial installations where several containers are needed, that difference in freight cost per installed m² is meaningful.
05. Custom color ratios available on commercial orders
If the project requires a different contrast ratio — for example, a grey-on-grey rather than white-on-grey — that's available as an OEM custom run from 500 m² minimum. The swirling mold geometry stays the same; only the two-tone coloring changes.

Installation notes for Cosmic Stone
1. Prepare the substrate
For Cosmic Stone, use a sound, dry and clean wall. Remove loose finishes and correct dampness before bonding the 3-4mm flexible stone panel.
2. Dry-fit the first panels
heck the 1200*2900 layout around openings, corners and trims before bonding.
3. Check the light direction
Use a dry panel and the project lighting to confirm how the relief shadows read before fixing the full wall.
4. Seal exposed edges
On outdoor or wet-area work, seal cut edges and panel joints with a compatible flexible weather sealant.
Final adhesive, substrate and sealing decisions should follow the project specification and the supplied technical data sheet.
