Product Overview
Creating board-form concrete walls with real timber molds is a messy, time-consuming process that often fails to capture clear wood grain details. The high cost of timber formwork and the risk of the concrete leaking or failing to set properly makes it a high-stakes endeavor. Once the forms are removed, any mistakes in the texture are permanent and expensive to fix.
Our Wood Cement Board offers the warm aesthetic of timber-marked concrete in a large 1200×3000mm format. At 3-4mm thick, these panels perfectly replicate the texture of wooden planks pressed into wet cement. They bring a sophisticated, textured industrial look to restaurants, boutiques, and modern homes.

Why Choose RINSUN Wood Cement Board?
01. Detailed Timber Grain
We've captured every knot and fiber of the original timber boards used for the mold. This results in a much more believable and high-quality finish than hand-troweled concrete. It adds a layer of organic warmth to the industrial concrete look.
02. Uniformity and Repeatability
Unlike real board-form concrete where the texture varies with every pour, our panels are consistent. You can plan your design with the confidence that every sheet will match the one next to it. It delivers a professional, high-end result across the whole wall.
03. Low-Impact Renovation
You can get the look of a heavy concrete wall without any of the heavy construction. These panels glue directly over existing surfaces, making them ideal for retail and hospitality renovations. You can transform a space overnight with zero demolition.
04. Moisture and Rot Proof
While it looks like it has wood in it, the material is entirely mineral-based and won't rot or warp. It is an excellent choice for bathrooms or outdoor patios where real timber would fail. You get the warmth of wood with the durability of stone.
05. Lightweight and Easy to Hang
A full sheet weighs only about 13kg, which is a fraction of the weight of a real concrete wall. This makes installation faster and much safer for the workers. It also reduces the need for expensive structural calculations and reinforcement.
Wood Cement Board: Product-specific comparison
This comparison is written for the selected flexible stone surface and its closest traditional alternative: natural timber cladding.
| Point | This flexible stone | natural timber cladding |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Wood Cement Board flexible stone surface | Harvested timber boards |
| Maintenance | Routine cleaning; no re-oiling schedule | Periodic staining, oiling and inspection |
| Fire planning | MCM panel fire reports available by model | Timber treatment and code review required |
| Shape | Can follow gentle curves | Boards need joints or specialist shaping |
| Moisture | Composite surface does not rot | Timber needs moisture protection |

Installation notes for Wood Cement Board
1. Prepare the substrate
For Wood Cement Board, use a sound, dry and clean wall. Remove loose finishes and correct dampness before bonding the 3-4mm flexible stone panel.
2. Dry-fit the first panels
Check the 1200*3000 layout around openings, corners and trims before bonding.
3. Apply stone adhesive
Use the specified polymer-modified stone adhesive with a notched trowel. Press the panel firmly and keep the adhesive bed continuous.
4. Finish the joints
Butt panels neatly and finish visible gaps with a matching flexible sealant. Allow the adhesive to cure before loading the wall.
Final adhesive, substrate and sealing decisions should follow the project specification and the supplied technical data sheet.
